EA Motive's remake of the iconic sci-fi horror Dead Space is currently targeting the Autumn 2022 release date, according to reliable industry reported Jeff Grubb.
Dead Space Remake is now surely one of the most if not the most anticipated horror games of 2021 and beyond. The game was officially revealed this summer, during the EA Play show, where the publisher confirmed that EA Motive are working on the remake with former Assassin's Creed Valhalla Game Director helming the project.
Sadly, EA did not reveal much. We only got a very short teaser trailer and a blog post that revealed this is indeed a remake of the iconic original from 2008.
On top of this, reliable Jeff Grubb reported that EA are taking notes from Capcom's Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes, which is certainly good news.
Today, we have fresh rumours about the Dead Space remake, coming once again from Jeff Grubb, who revealed that EA Motive are currently targeting the Autumn 2022 release date . Grubb implies that if the development goes smoothly, without any hiccups, we should be playing the Dead Space remake in late 2022.
To be fair, this is not surprising at all. 2021 release date certainly did not make sense at this time and the first half of 2022 was always optimistic, given that EA only showed us a small glimpse of the game during the reveal.
Grubb also reveals that EA should be showcasing more Dead Space remake footage by the end of 2021.se
