Red Hook Studios have officially announced they are working on a brand new DLC for their gothic dungeon crawler Darkest Dungeon. Named Butcher's Circus, the DLC is set to introduce arena-based PVP mode with teams of 4 heroes.
You will be able to play Darkest Dungeon with your friends in a PVP mode very soon. The developer Red Hook Studios have officially confirmed Butcher's Circus, a paid DLC that will be coming to their critically-acclaimed dungeon crawler. At the moment, the release date is yet to be confirmed. DLC page on Steam simply states "coming soon".
Butcher's Circus will bring a PvP combat with two teams of 4 heroes. You will be able to choose heroes without risking your Campaign heroes which is certainly a welcomed sight. On top of this, you will be able to climb the ranks, unlock banner components and of course, use your creativity to assemble your own duelist heraldry.
Just like the base game, the PvP mode DLC will also require a lot of strategy and tactics with trinkets that can mean the difference between win and defeat. Battles will be held in a new location named The Butcher's Circus, hence the DLC's name.
If you are yet to play Darkest Dungeon, we wholeheartedly recommend the game. It is one of the hidden gems that you must try if RPG games and especially dungeon crawlers are your cup of tea.
Darkest Dungeon is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and iOS.
