Spoilers are probably one of the biggest pet peeves that people have when it comes to gaming. Especially if plot-heavy games like Danganronpa are in question. To tackle this issue, the developer Spike Chunsoft decided to disable the PlayStation 4's share button in the upcoming sequel Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.
A message translated by reads: "In order to prevent spoilers for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, we are asking for self-restraint in the release of gameplay videos and live streams from Chapter 2 onward." It goes on: "For the same reason, PlayStation 4's share feature cannot be used with save data that has entered Chapter 2 or later even once, even if it's between the Prologue and Chapter 1. We hope for your understanding and cooperation in order to allow more customers to enjoy this title." Sounds reasonably fair.
Danganronpa V3 will be out on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan. The game will see its release in the West sometime later in 2017. A is now available in Japan.
