Cyberpunk 2077's shoddy release resulted in countless fixes after launch and the latest one happened on June 17, 2021. This probably in preparation for return to PS Store.
Overall, there are fixes for 17 quests, including Gigs, in patch 1.23:
- Space Oddity
- Gig: Family Matters
- The Heist
- The Nomad
- The Hunt
- The Beast in Me
- Queen of the Highway
- Down on the Street
- Forward to Death
- Gig: Goodbye, Night City
- Path of Glory
- Gig: No Fixers
- Gig: Getting Warmer...
- Gig: Many Ways to Skin a Cat
- Cyberpsycho Sighting: Where the Bodies Hit the Floor
- Cyberpsycho Sighting: On Deaf Ears
- I Fought the Law
Furthermore, there are "numerous crash fixes" for animations, UI, scene, physics and gameplay systems but there are no specifics on what they are. The notes mention memory optimisations and memory management for various systems to reduce the number of crashes and CPU optimisations.
Whether this patch makes performance significantly better remains to be seen, especially on last-gen consoles since the return to PS4 is scheduled for next week.
