According to the ESRB rating summary for Cyberpunk 2077, in one of the quests, players will assist a character by hammering nails through his hands and feet.
Cyberpunk 2077 has received M for mature rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). Of course, this was totally expected since the Australian rating board also rated the game +18 and CD Projekt Red already stated several times that the game won't shy away from heavy themes and brutal content.
In the official rating summary over at ESRB , this content has been described in detail, revealing some new info about a certain quest in the game. The description states that during this quest, players will assist a character by hammering nails through his hands and feet, resulting in screaming sounds and blood effects accompanying the whole scene.
The quest sounds pretty brutal but like we already said, CD Projekt Red already confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is a game for adults only so you can expect a lot of similar content throughout the story.
The description further reveals that players can encounter events where they have the option to engage in sexual activities with other main characters or prostitutes. These sex scenes will be shown from a first-person perspective.
On top of this, there are references to fictional drugs and an animated billboard ad that depicts a man snorting speed among other things.
