Developer Wildfire Game and publisher bilibili have today confirmed that their 2D action RPG Eastern Exorcist is now available on PC via Steam Early Access. This melee-based adventure features a hand-drawn 2D environment resulting in some gorgeous visuals.
However, don't let the beautiful graphics deceive you. Eastern Exorcist is as brutal and challenging as it gets. It puts the player in the boots of an exorcist who vanquishes demons, equipped only with his sword.
You get to fight these demonic monsters in a frame-by-frame animated world, filled with various locations like dungeons, rivers, bamboo forests and other. According to the developer, the game is a mix of melee-based combat and an authentic homage to Chinese Opera with fast gameplay.
