Call of Duty WW2 was the highest grossing game on consoles of 2017. It is thanks to a staggering revenue of £357.975.000,00 in just three days after the game's release which went on to become £715.950.000,00 by the end of the year. Sledgehammer are now looking into prolonging the life of their golden goose by adding , which is scheduled for March 2018, as well as a free multiplayer weekend.
The free weekend is live right now and you can download the multiplayer client on Steam for free. It will be available until Sunday, 25 February 2018 at 21:00 GMT. Any unlocks and progression obtained will carry over to the full version of the game, provided you like it enough to buy it.

As previously stated, this is multiplayer only so you won't be able to play the campaign, which could also be a selling point to some players as Call of Duty series has seen strong narrative over the years. The drawback was the short length of each campaign but memorably characters were never scarce.
Another piece of the game that will be missing is the Zombies mode. If you were hoping to get in on the Nazi Zombie bashing action, you will not be able to do so unless you shell out the money.

The game is on a 35 per cent sale on Steam right now and it will set you back £28 should you decide to purchase it.
