Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha pre-loads are now live on PlayStation consoles. The free Alpha will officially unlock tomorrow at 10:00 AM PT / 07:00 PM CET.

Call of Duty Vanguard is one of the most anticipated games of this year and the wait is almost over since Activision's shooter is just around the corner now. To give players a chance to try out the game before buying, Activision and Sledgehammer Games, the lead developer behind the title, will be hosting a free Alpha test on all platforms.

First off, the free Alpha will be available to PlayStation players, while PC and Xbox players will get to try it out a bit later. The Alpha for PlayStation players goes live tomorrow, Friday, August 27, at 10:00 AM PT / 07:00 PM CET.

If you are excited to play it, the pre-loads are now open on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 so you can download and install the game to have everything up and running once the servers unlock.

The modes that you'll get to play in Alpha seem pretty scarce. It seems that the new Champion Hill mode is the only one you can try. This is not surprising since it's usual practice for Activision to offer only one mode during the Alpha tests.

Call of Duty Vanguard is officially hitting the shelves on November 5, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
