Call of Duty 2020 is yet to be announced by Treyarch and Activision but it seems that could happen very soon since a beta client of an approximate size of 81.65 GB has now leaked on the Xbox Store.
Call of Duty players are still waiting to see the next game in the series, which is being developed by Treyarch and will be set during the Cold War era, according to rumours. Activision usually reveal their annual Call of Duty title sometime in the month of May, which makes the wait a bit unusual.
Well, it seems that the wait could be over very soon. As you may know, earlier this year, Call of Duty 2020 leaked over at PS Patches website as The Red Door project. Today, we have another leak and this time it's coming from the Xbox Store.
Once again, the game is codenamed The Red Door but this time, the description also includes file size and a short tease: "There is more than one truth. If you go looking for answers, be ready to question everything and accept that nothing will ever be the same. The Red Door awaits, do you dare step through it?"
It does not say much and it's certainly not connected to Call of Duty in any way. As for the file size, it's 81.65GB, which is larger than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta (39GB). There is also a "Redeem Code" button on the page, suggesting it is a closed beta test.
Additional information also reveals that the game is a shooter published by Activision so that probably confirms that this is indeed a new Call of Duty game.
