Caliber hit a massive bump with the New Horizons event and the devs are now scrambling to salvage the situation.

1C Game Studios have hit a rough patch following the lacklustre launch of the New Horizons Marathon event in Caliber.

Some of the reasons include a plethora of bugs introduced with the update, massive focus on the semi-broken new game mode Threshold and a pile of disconnects that caused people to lose valuable Tickets which would be used in the event shop.

The devs announced that the attempt to salvage the event will be two-fold.

First, the event will be prolonged by one week and it will now end on August 16, 2023, as opposed to the previous ending date on August 9.

Furthermore, the added week of the event will award more Tickets and Tokens, which should give the players an extra chance to earn enough for all the cosmetics they wanted to get.

Keep in mind that the cosmetics are not the only worthwhile things that can be purchased in the shop as players can also get a total of 10 packs with 50,000 Credits in them, which is essential for those who are still building their accounts.

The only catch is that you will still have to play the Threshold mode to get the most out of the currencies and the mode is still lacking in several aspects.
