If you had a good time spamming Supers in any Destiny 2 activities, it will soon be over as Bungie will nerf related Exotics to limit the best abilities' usage frequency.

Shards of Galanor may not be the best-looking gloves in Destiny 2 but they saw quite a bit of use thanks to their ability to quickly recharge a Guardian's Super. The same goes for several other Exotics, some good-looking some not so much, as players just love using their big ability. This is coming to an end with Season 15 as these will get a blanket nerf while Geomag Stabilizers will get hit the hardest.

All Exotics that refund Super energy will be capped at 50 per cent now. This includes:

  • Shards of Galanor
  • Ursa Furiosa
  • Skull of Dire Ahamkara
  • Phoenix Protocol
  • Stormdancer's Brace

While these nerfs will generally not sit well with players who love using their Supers, it was Warlocks who like running Chaos Reach who got the shortest straw.

Namely, Geomag Stabilizers will no longer have the ability to top the Super energy off by sprinting, which is just a massive kick in the jewels. Considering the Super uptime will go down drastically with the nerf, the Attunement of Control is highly likely to fall out of favour in both PvE and PvP until some sort of buffs are introduced.

If you're feeling down, at least remember that stacking Scavenger mods will no longer work in PvP so we might actually see some firefights with primaries now.
