Forget about the map size, quests, vehicle customisation and other features in Cyberpunk 2077. We have an extremely important update to share which will make many feline lovers happy. Yes, you can pet kitty cats in CD Projekt Red's upcoming RPG.
Recently, we got a ton of new details about one of the most anticipated games of 2020 Cyberpunk 2077. And while many content creators and journalists focused on exploring the open world, checking out the skill and perk trees, testing the gunplay and driving mechanics, a couple of them spent their time with the game trying the answer the most important question - Can we pet cats and dogs in Cyberpunk 2077?
And fortunately, it looks like the answer is yes, we will be able to pet kitty cats and probably doggos in CD Projekt Red's upcoming action RPG. This has been confirmed by IGN's Miranda Sanchez, who spent her time exploring the city and trying to interact with as many people/animals as possible.
"Oh, and I pet a cat! That's very important. I didn't see any dogs for you dog people out there," Sanchez wrote in her preview of Cyberpunk 2077.
And while dogs decided to stay hidden in this particular playthrough, we can assure you that these tail-waggers are also in Cyberpunk 2077 since this has already been confirmed by CD Projekt Red last year.
In 2019, quest director on the game, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz confirmed that when it comes to animals, only cats and dogs will appear in the game since most of the other species have extinct due to "all the laws the corporations are enforcing, and all the climate disasters and catastrophes the world has gone through."
