Blizzard tak about what is next for Overwatch 2 in terms of gameplay tweaks, heroes and upcoming content.

Blizzard have shared a new blog post on their official website, talking about upcoming Overwatch 2 changes and improvements.

Blizzard say they had to focus on servers and stability in their recent updates but understand that players are eager to hear about what's next in terms of gameplay changes and other topics.

Their current focus seems to be planning for hero balancing changes and some gameplay tweaks and here's what Blizzard have in mind for the upcoming updates.

Based on the data, Blizzard don't have any imminent balancing changes with the exception of an adjustment to Zarya in Total Mayhem which is coming in the October 25 patch.

Instead, the devs plan to deliver a series of balance changes in Season 2 ensuring the overall game feels balanced and fair.

As for the tanks, the team seem happy with the current win rates of tanks and don't feel that any of them are unbalanced.

They mention Zarya’s new ability which allows her to build up to high energy quickly is something they are currently monitoring for potential changes next season.

Also, the team is also monitoring Doomfist's performance and play rate compared to other tanks. They say it makes sense to evaluate his overall tanking ability and potentially make improvements to Power Block and Meteor Strike.
