Borderlands 3 has been celebrating its second anniversary for five weeks now, and it has all lead up to this moment: free cosmetics and a Diamond Key for all players.
Borderlands 3's second-year anniversary extravaganza is coming to an end. Borderlands 3 turns two years old today and Gearbox is celebrating with more limited-time mini-events and new goodies you can get your hands on via SHiFT codes.
Borderlands 3 mini-events: Second-anniversary celebration
Vault Hunters, attention: the next 48 hours (ending at 15:59 GMT on September 15) will see the Loot Monster Mayhem back in action. The event increases spawn rates for Loot variant enemies.
Bonus: Hammerlock's Legendary Hunts rewards Bekah Assault Rifle and the Earworm Assault Rifle from 2019's Boss Week are back in the loot pool. Come in, the water's warm.
Maurice's Black Market Vending Machine is now hidden somewhere in the wilderness so go on out there and nab a couple of Legendary freebies.
Second anniversary: cosmetic gifts
Events are fleeting but cosmetics are forever. The free cosmetics on offer include Popsychle Vault Hunter Skin, Pain Freeze Weapon Trinket and Field Trip ECHO Device Skin.
All three cosmetics can be redeemed using one SHiFT code:
