Borderlands 3's tour of the planets during the Loot the Universe event has come to a close, Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine has a new home and there are two mini-events now live in the game.
Borderlands 3's second-anniversary celebration has entered its final days. The five-week-long extravaganza started on August 12 on Pandora and decked the planet out with zones flaunting dedicated Legendary weapon type drops (Pistol, Shotgun, SMG, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, or Heavy), and sometimes even increased chances for Legendary gear types (Class Mods, Artifacts, Shields, or Grenade Mods).
Gearbox will finish rolling out their latest set of hotfixes by 19:00 GMT today, Thursday, September 9 2021. The fresh batch of fixes will move Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine to a new location and activate Mayhem Made Mild and Show Me the Eridium mini-events.
- Mayhem Made Mild: players will only encounter Easy modifiers in Mayhem Mode until 15:59 GMT on September 16.
- Show Me the Eridium: will grant increased Eridium drops and Eridium item discounts until 15:59 GMT on September 16.
The two mini-events will run simultaneously and overlap with a special mystery event planned to kick off on September 13 - the game's actual anniversary.
