Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic have rolled out a lengthy gameplay trailer for their upcoming RPG Biomutant, and there's a lot to see here, from combat and creatures to a gorgeous world.
If you're hoping for a launch date, however, you'll have to wait longer because Experiment 101 wrote at the end of the trailer that Biomutant launches "when [they] are happy with it". We suppose that with what's on display in the trailer, they certainly deserved to take their time.
Biomutant's trailer demonstrates the combat your characters will use in-game, and it's all about agile movement and skilful strikes. You'll also have some firepower and your skills will, of course, get better with time, whatever your style is.
And you'll clearly be needing all the help you can get, what with the assortment of enemies on display. From exotic and fluffy creatures to gargantuan bosses - Biomutant isn't afraid to bank on its size.
Speaking of size, Biomutant's world looks like a dream to explore, with different biomes and specific settings for different bosses. Magical is certainly the word we're looking for here and while we're on the subject of magical - we really hope the trailer music is part of the actual game.
Clearly not all of the bosses are above ground - you can check out an underwater battle at around 6:25, and it looks like Experiment 101 really did a great job, at least judging from the trailer alone.
You can check out some Biomutant weapons and weapon types around 4:15, as the game uses everything from a hammer to automatic rifles.
Developed by Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic, Biomutant launches for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
