Banner Saga 3's Kickstarter raised half of its funding within one day
The Banner Saga 3's Kickstarter has already reached the halfway point towards its $200.000 goal, after launching just yesterday. The premier instalment of the series raised $700.000 after asking for just $100.000 back in 2012. The funding enabled the studio to develop the first game, support it and go on to make a sequel, without any dependence on publishers.
"Now we're back, in a similar position as before, hoping you'll support Banner Saga 3 to make this game just as special. We're still solidly indie, not accepting any investor funding so Kickstarter is still a great way to rally the community to show support for the game, while letting us call the shots on the games we make", the developers explained on the page for the new project.
