The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) published their list of nominees for the 2020 BAFTA Games Awards and Remedy have every reason to be delighted, leading the way with as many as nine nominations, including for the Game of the Year.

Developed by Remedy and published by 505 Games, Control is an action-adventure that launched for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in August 2019. The amount of awards and accolades it has amassed thus far is quite impressive and by now far too long to list, so add another nine to that list.

That said, the categories are quite diverse, so our intention is not to take away from any of the other games' achievements, so let's start with the Best Game bracket, i.e. game of the year. As you can see that pesky goose once again made a splash.
