ARC Raiders January 2026 Update 1.11.0 details

ARC Raiders Update 1.11.0 introduces the Abyss cosmetic set, nerfs to Trigger ‘Nade and Kettle, and rewards players with a free Gilded Pickaxe for celebrating 12 million copies sold.

ARC Raiders developers Embark Studios has released Update 1.11.0 to all platforms of their shooter, introducing new cosmetics, balancing changes, and a gift to players for celebrating with them. As reported by players on PC, Embark Studios stated that all players will need to do is restart their game client to download the new update.

This is one of the first substantial updates of the year for ARC Raiders. Aside from some small gameplay changes, the developer hit a major milestone of over 12 million copies sold this year. While they continue improvements and updates to ARC Raiders, the large new addition is a new cosmetic set dubbed Abyss.

This cosmetic set will give players new customization options to enjoy flashy new looks in-game. Embark Studios has found a nice balance of both rewarding players with thoughtful progression and cosmetic items that are just fun to unlock. That being said, players are likely to find the balancing changes to combat to be the most noteworthy part of the update.

Kettle and Trigger ‘Nade nerfed

The Kettle’s sprayfire mode has been nerfed, slowing it down from a 600 RPM fire rate to 450 RPM. Developer Scott explained that realistically speaking, firing at 600 RPM would only be possible through macros and created disparity amongst those who utilized third-party software and those who didn’t.

This nerf aims to fix that discrepancy. As for Trigger ‘Nade, the explosive was uber dominant in PvP encounters so these balancing adjustments should help level the playing field.

Damage falloff is now tighter around centre of the explosion meaning the nade won’t travel as far. Trigger to explosion time has also been increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, allowing players more time to dodge and setting aflame those trying to detonate it whilst jumping will be next to impossible.

Bug fixes, lighting improvements, and a gift for players

  • The room key bug/glitch which allowed players to retain keys after using them has been patched.
  • Lighting improvements have also been made to Stella Montis Night Raid, allowing overall brightness to be toned down. This should give flashlights and situational awareness tools more weight during encounters.

As for gifts, every player who logs into ARC from 1st January to 13 January 23: 59 CET (or local time wherever you are located) will be gifted the Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool once the update downloads.

This is simply a thank you gift to celebrate reaching over 12 million copies sold and to commemorate how quickly the playerbase has expanded.ARC Raiders Update 1.11.0 is live now, and with new cosmetics on the way, balance changes, and consistent support, the game will surely roll strong into 2026.
