BioWare have been busy on this year's Paris Games Week, taking the opportunity to show off Anthem's gameplay in a live stream. The mission is about locating the arcanist, Matthias Sumner, although it kicked off with some audio issues.

Worry not though, because doubling of audio occurs only for the first 3:47 minutes and BioWare recap it all anyway. Unless you feel particularly masochistic, of course, in which case feel free to indulge from the start, wink wink.

Anthem's stream shows four javelins, which is BioWare's fancy name for the exosuits. You're looking at Ranger, Storm, Colossus and Interceptor javelins, each of which specialises in a different area of butt kicking. By now you probably know which one does what, even though the name should be enough of a hint.

If you skip to 13:46 and 24:50, you can check out ultimates for Storm and Interceptor ones, respectively, both of which are looking quite spectacular. While Storm goes for the more elemental vibe, Interceptors are going for the flashy superhero deal.

The mission concludes with a mini-boss showdown that sees Anthem's javelins rip the poor guy to mini-boss pieces. Just in case you don't feel terribly blown away by the graphics, even though I don't see a darn thing wrong with it either, you should know that the alpha version shown here is played at low settings.

In the video, BioWare come across grabbits as well, which are small non-hostile creatures that are featured in Anthem's lore. So far, we know they're pretty cute and that they're at the bottom of the food chain. Nice name though.

If you're more interested in the story side of things, you may want to check out Anthem's , even if it doesn't really say that much on individual stories. It's more about general impact that individual stories will have but we should expect more soon, now that the game's .

If everything keeps going according to plan, BioWare's Anthem launches on 21 February 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
