Anno 1800 is getting a fresh update next week. The update will add support for Anno 1800's second Season 2 DLC, "Bright Harvest", for all Season 2 Pass owners.
Anno 1800's latest update will go live on Tuesday, June 2 at 4:00 p.m. GMT. The update's download size will be around 1.8GB.
Game Update 8 will add support for Anno 1800's second Season 2 DLC, "Bright Harvest", for all Season 2 Pass owners. The DLC will also be available a la carte from June 2 onwards.
After the upcoming update is applied, an item Overview system will be available within the statistics screen. The new system will let the players view their current items, as well as where they are being utilised or stored at the moment.
This includes filtering options by the item's effect or what buildings they can be socketed into, as well as text search.
You can also use the item overview to search for any missing items and information on how to get them.
An additional upgrade is on its way to Trading Posts and Warehouses as well. The new upgrade will give them extra loading ramps and storage space.
Old World buildings and their New World counterparts can also be upgraded one additional level.
Setting up trade routes will now be faster as you won't have to press "Accept" after selecting a new good, and by default 50t will be loaded at once.
Electricity poles are now optional and can be turned off in the game settings.
A new functionality that will let you change the textures on ships and trains via a button in their object menu will also be added. The Command Ship and the train currently have new textures from the Imperial pack but the functionality is supported for all ships.
Buyers of the “Bright Harvest” DLC can unlock new textures for the Battlecruiser and Collier as new Ubisoft Club Rewards.
The new skin on the train will only show once it has been to the Oil Harbor.
