Alliance of Valiant Arms hasn't been around in the West for a while now but Neowiz decided to relaunch the game in these countries in 2021.
Alliance of Valiant Arms has been around for the better part of 2010s but the game was removed from the Western shelves, so to speak, back in 2018 when En Masse Entertainment ceased to be its own entity and integrations into Krafton took place. However, Neowiz acquired the rights to the IP and has been operating the game in Korea and Japan. They are now bringing AVA back for the Western market.
It apparently comes with improved visuals and more features but there are currently no details on these. Furthermore, the exact re-release date has not been announced but Neowiz did note AVA is coming back "in the coming weeks" so we are probably looking at a late February or early March 2021 release. The Steam page does state March 31, 2021, is the big day but it's unclear if this is just a placeholder date at the moment.
Despite the graphics improvements, it appears that the required hardware didn't change too much since the components on Steam are listing parts that are over a decade old.
For those unfamiliar with the game, AVA is an FPS that has both PvE and PvP elements with extensive weapon customisation and several modes. Six different modes are coming with the relaunch and you can already check out the new trailer Neowiz put out.
