Selecta Play announced the physical editions for the critically acclaimed Aeterna Noctis, some of which will be quite chunky in both content and price.
Aeterna Noctis , the 2D Metroidvania that mixed the sweet nostalgia with modernised hand-drawn graphics has enjoyed enough success to create demand for physical editions. The wishes of these fans are coming true in the autumn of 2022, which is when the distribution of the copies for PS4, PS5 and Switch will begin.
Before that happens, however, fans can pre-order their physical editions from major local retailers such as:
- UK
- 365games.co.uk, base.com, Funstock, The Game Collection and VideoGamesPlus.ca
- France
- E. Leclerc, Fnac, Micromania
- Germany
- Amazon, bucher.de, Gameware, Thali, Thalia, Vitrex, WoG.ch
- Spain
- Amazon, Fnac, GAME, Impact Game, TodoConsolas, Wakkup and xtralife
Italy and Greece will also get pre-purchase options but they are unavailable at this time.
There will be two editions - Standard and Caos Edition, which is a fancy name for Collector's Edition.
The latter includes a Steelbook version of the game, unique per platform, a Collector's Edition artbook that consists of over 224 pages, two stained glass window postcards, three-disc soundtrack and a Collector's CD cover that contains a download code for the King of Darkness digital soundtrack with all the musical sheets of the game. All of this will be packed into a Collector's Edition box.
Standard Edition will set you back 39,99 €/£29.99 while the Caos Edition will stand at 99,99 €/£84.99.
