League of Legends 2021 preseason will feature some big changes to the in-game items which will have a huge impact on the game. We've prepared a list of all the items Riot Games revealed so far.
The League of Legends preseason just keeps on giving and apart from all the improvements to the game's competitive ranking system, the biggest change will be the introduction of a new type of item called mythic which we've covered in one of our previous articles.
Even though Riot Games haven't given us all the information about of the new items, we've gathered the new additions and made a list of they've revealed so far.
Cursed Demonhelm - 3000 gold (+ 400 HP; +80 AP) - Ability damage inflicts Azakana's Embrace for 4 seconds. Azakana's Enbrace: The target takes 2 per cent of their maximum health as magic damage every second. You gain 20 armour and 20 magic resist every second while enemies are afflicted. This passive is capped.
This item will almost likely be the go-to choice for all the AP brusiers in the game as it provides both offensive and defensive stats.
Battering Ram (+500 HP; +40 AD; +10 Ability Haste) - Rage: Dealing physical damage grants you 20 MS for 2 seconds, increased to 60 MS if it kills the target. Spellblade: After using an ability, your next attack gains bonus range, speed, deals bonus physical damage equal to 200 per cent of base AD on hit, and dashes you a short distance towards the target (1.5 second cooldown). Mythic Passive: Your other Legendary items gain +6 per cent tenacity and slow resistance. The price of this item is still unknown.
Crimson Shieldbow - 3400 gold (+50 AD; +15 per cent AS; +20 per cent Critical Strike; + 12 per cent Life Steal) - When you take damage that would reduce you below 30 per cent health, you gain a 150-500 HP shield for 3 seconds and 20 per cent increased life steal for 8 seconds. Mythic Passive: Empowers other Legendary Items with +8 Armour and Magic Resist.
This item could be a very good choice for all the AD carries who are facing assassins in the opposing team as it provides the much needed protection. The passive is very reminiscent of the current Sterak's Gage, but unlike Sterak's this item will be purchasabale by all champions instead of it being melee-only
Behemoth Slayer - 3400 gold (+60 AD, +25 per cent AS, +20 per cent Critical Strike) - Every third attack deals 80-240 (+30 per cent bonus AD) additional true damage. Mythic Passive: Empowers other Legendary items with 5 per cent Critical Strike Damage.
This Item will come in handy if the enemy team is stacked with tanks. It could also increase the pressence of AD carries in the mid or top lane since it save them from being outscaled by a tanky enemy team composition.
Galeforce - 3400 gold (+60 AD; +15 per cent AS; +20 per cent Critical Strike Chance) - Active: Dash a short distance (cannot cross walls) and deal 105-240 (+30 per cent bonus AD) magic damage to a lowest health nearby enemy. Damage increased with enemy missing health. Mythic: Empowers other Legendary Items with +2 per cent Movement Speed.
This item does not provide that much sheer power in stats since the core strenght of this item lies in its passive. Being able reposition or dodge some crucial abilities like a Syndra stun or a Malphite ultimate can make the difference between winning and losing a teamfight, especially for immobile AD carries like Jhin, Jinx, or Aphelios.
