Sprinting on foot only gets you so far in a map this size. Here's how to unlock the Haste abilities that replace it entirely, one for each of Coen's forms.

Tucked away in The Blood of Dawnwalker's Perks and Abilities trees are two passive movement upgrades: Shapeshift and Mercurial Fervour. Both fall under the game's Haste category, and once you've learned either, it simply replaces your old sprint, so fast travel on foot becomes faster the moment it's unlocked.

The first tier of both only costs one Skill Point. Advanced tiers cost more - for Mercurial Fervour, that means finding the right Manual before you can spend further Skill Points on it; for Shapeshift, it means levelling up Corruption instead.

Shapeshift: Vampire Form's Wolf Sprint

Shapeshift is learned from the Vampirism section of the Perks menu, which means it's only usable at night, while Coen is in Vampire form. Once unlocked, holding sprint turns him into a wolf instead of just running faster on two legs.

Mercurial Fervour: Human Form's Equivalent

Mercurial Fervour is the Witchcraft counterpart, learned from the Witchcraft section of the Perks menu and usable only during the day, while Coen is human. It does the same job as Shapeshift, minus the wolf transformation.

Why It's Worth Prioritising

Neither Ability does anything in a fight, which makes it easy to skip both in favour of combat Perks and Abilities. But once either is unlocked, it's just a straight upgrade to how fast you move by default, day or night. Given how much time can otherwise go into simply walking across Vale Sangora, it's worth picking up the version for whichever form you're spending the most time in early, rather than saving the Skill Points for later.
