Here are some of the biggest releases on PlayStation 5 that you'll get to play in July 2022, barring any delays. 

Some might say that the Summer period is usually quite slow and dry when it comes to game releases but this year, that won't be the case. 

In July 2022, PlayStation players can look forward to a couple of highly anticipated games but also some smaller yet interesting releases.

We've made a list of all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games that will be launched in July 2022 so read on for the release dates and short descriptions of each title.

F1 22  - July 1 | Annual Formula 1 release from EA and Codemasters. This year's iteration brings some new features like super cars and overall improvements to gameplay and visuals.  

Arcadegeddon - July 5 | Third-person multiplayer shooter from IllFonic which is set to launch day one on PlayStation Plus Essential. You can play solo or with up to three friends.

Yurukill: The Calumnation Game - July 5 | Bullet hell shoot 'em up title with puzzle elements where players must collect evidence, gather testimonies to find the arsonist who killed 21 people.

Matchpoint - Tennis Championships - July 7 | Tennis game from Torus and Kalypso Media.

AI: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative - July 8 (Europe) | This sequel to AI: The Somnium Files is set in Tokyo and follows two detectives how are trying to uncover a mysterious serial killer. 

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series - July 8 | Published by Bandai Namco, this compilation features remastered editions of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil.

Stray - July 19 | In Stray, players get to play as a stray kitten who is trying to find its lost family in a large dystopian city. This unique platformer is a console exclusive to PlayStation, developed by Blue Twelve and published by Annapurna Interactive.

Severed Steel - July 20 | Severed Steel is a parkour bullet-time single-player first-person shooter featuring a one-armed female protagonist, a unique visual style and a rocking soundtrack. 

Hell Pie - July 21 | In this platformer, you'll get to gather the most disgusting ingredients ever to make a birthday cake for your master - Satan himself.

Nobunaga's Ambition: Rebirth - July 21 | Koei Tecmo's turn-based strategy set in the dynamic Sengoku era.

Post Void - July 21 | This fast-paced first-person shooter is unlike anything you've ever played before. Its 98 out of 100 reviews on Steam are quite telling, too. 

Wayward Strand - July 21 | A heartfelt, story-rich and atmospheric adventure with a female protagonist who is asked to help out at the airborne hospital during her holiday. 

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town - July 26 | Farm/life simulation with more features than ever before is coming to PlayStation. 

GrimGrimoire OnceMore - July 28 | A real-time strategy game from the PS2 era, remade with new fancy visuals and features. 

Lost Epic - July 28 | Lost Epic is a 2D side-scrolling souls-like action RPG where players become a God slayer as they take down various bosses and beasts. 

Digimon Survive - July 29 | July ends with a bang. Hotly anticipated survival RPG hybrid Digimon Survive brings a brand new world filled with all sorts of monsters. Bandai Namco promise a story that will be directly influenced by player choices including Digimon's digivolution process.
