NetEase Games and Starry Studio's Once Human is a futuristic survival shooter. Built on traditional survival mechanics, Once Human excels at making the game function as a unique entity of its own.
In Once Human, players can craft their own equipment by collecting resources from out in the wild or through exploration of settlements. While looted equipment perishes once it disappears from your inventory.
However, if a crafted equipment loses its validity, it can be repaired and added back to your inventory for use. Here's a guide on how to repair equipment in Once Human.
How to repair equipment in Once Human
Once your equipment's condition wears down and loses its usability, you can repair it by using the Gear Workbench in your base.
As your equipment wears down, take it to your gear workbench and then press H to go the Repair menu. In the repair menu, select the equipment you want to repair. To repair an equipment you'll need:
- 30 Copper Ingots
- 10 Metal Scraps
- 10 Shabby Fabric
- 5 Adhesive
To make your repair process easier, we recommend storing materials like Copper Ingots, Metal Scraps, Shabby Fabric and Adhesive in excess. It will allow you to repair equipment in an instant.
In Once Human, you can repair almost everything you craft using the gear workbench. However, you can not repair things you find out in the wild or during exploration. These items will get discarded completely once they are completely worn out.
Another thing that is not repairable through the Gear Workbench is the Crude, Copper and Bronze Pickaxe. Once a crude, copper or bronze pickaxe breaks, it is completely done for. Players must make another pickaxe to log trees and mine ore. We recommend making multiple pickaxes and storing them in your storage crate.
