NetEase Games and Starry Studio's has hit it out of the park with their new survival title, Once Human. The game was recently released for PC and Android devices, with an iOS port on the way.
Once Human connects all players in the server using various unique mechanics, including the Whisper item. Whispers enable players to place a beacon out in the world and allow other players to get different messages.

How to use Whispers and leave messages for other players in Once Human
The first thing you need to do for making whispers is to create a Supplies Workbench. After creating the Supplies Workbench, you'll be able to craft whispers by using 5 wood logs.
After creating the Whisper, add it your backpack by claiming it from the Supplies Workbench. Now open your inventory and click on the Whisper and drag it to the hotbar. Once the whisper is added to your hotbar, press the associated button and you can place the whisper where you are standing.
Whispers can only be crafted using the Supplies Workbench and it is not purchasable through any vendors in the game. Moreover, the whispers can be used from the beginning of the game right after finishing the tutorial.
Whispers can be used to leave hints, warnings, tips and other messages for players in the wild. Moreover, you can also add images to the whisper to allow players to take a look at what you're trying to convey.
The Whisper function in Once Human is similar to Elden Ring's Wizened fingers which also allowed players to leave messages for other players in a certain place on the map. The whisper can easily be crafted using wood logs. So, make sure to carry whispers in your inventory and leave messages for other players in different places on the map.
