Captain Marvel's challenge in Midnight Suns is somewhat straightforward as it's all about turning Block into damage.
Captain Marvel is a fairly powerful tank in Marvel's Midnight Suns as she can dish out quite a bit of damage while staying sturdy throughout the fight, primarily thanks to Go Binary.
Firaxis crafted her challenge to utilise Block as a source of damage as well which may initially be overlooked in the puzzle so here is the full solution to get her Supernova ability and a new outfit.
Hero's Heart challenge solution
Cards provided for the challenge are:
- Cosmic Ray
- Quick Jab
- Knee Strike
- One Step Ahead
- Fists of Radiance
- Rain of Blows
The idea is to deal as much damage as possible to the one enemy in front of Captain Marvel in order to claim its card that increases Offence so you can wreck the crystal.
This is achieved with the correct sequence of ability usage, which is:
- Knee Strike
- Cosmic Ray
- Quick Jab
- Go Binary
- Fists of Radiance
- One Step Ahead (Draw two cards)
- Regroup
- All In
- Fists of Radiance
- Rain of Blows
Once the crystal bursts, you will get Supernova so just use it to destroy the new crystal that spawned.
At this point, your favourite interplanetary bruiser has a new Heroic ability that may actually underwhelm you since Photon Beam was already doing a great job.
