Season 11 has officially started as Patch 11.1 joined the live servers and there are some interesting changes prepared for the next update. Varus will get a significant buff to his laning phase.

League of Legends lead gameplay designer, Riot Scruffy revealed the upcoming changes for the first patch of the new season - 11.2. There will be some interesting changes that will especially affect the ADC position. That's why we have prepared a list of champions you should play in this role.

 S TIER:

  • Kai'Sa
  • Jhin
  • Miss Fortune

These three have been dominating the ADC meta for the last couple of patches now. Jhin always has the range advantage over the other AD carries as he can easily set up kills with his  Deadly Flourish (W) and Curtain Call (R), as well as join team fights when needed.

 A TIER:

  • Ashe
  • Samira
  • Vayne
  • Caitlyn
  • Xayah
  • Ezreal
  • Tristana

Caitlyn will get their AD per level increased from 2.88 to 3.3 and this will result in roughly 7.5 AD at level 18 which shouldn't be enough for her to join our S tier. Tristana can be a very good flex pick due to the recent rise of her popularity on the mid lane. Paired with a strong engaging support like Leona or Alistar, she can easily stomp her way through the laning phase. The only thing to keep in mind here would be the position of the enemy jungler, because once she goes all-in, it's very hard for her to disengage.

 B TIER:

  • Draven
  • Twitch
  • Aphelios
  • Lucian
  • Kalista
  • Yasuo
  • Varus
  • Kog'Maw

The cooldown on Varus'  Chain of Corruption (R) will get a 20-second reduction on level1, from 120 to 100 seconds, which will hugely impact his early game. All you need to do is clear the enemy vision and poke your opponents while waiting for your jungler to arrive. Once he's there it's pretty easy to either get a kill or force some flashes which, if played properly, would only delay your enemy's downfall in the lane.
