In this upcoming League of Legends update, every champion in the game will receive their own unique icon, all of which can be directly purchased from the in-game store. Each icon will be available for 250 RP (Riot Points).
While some players had hoped these icons could be bought with Blue Essence, Riot has confirmed that RP will be the sole currency for acquiring them. However, Riot has mentioned that these icons will be re-rollable.
The release date for these new champion icons is scheduled for the launch of Patch 13.17, which is set to go live on Thursday, August 31st, 2023.
