- Turn off OneDrive, start Battlefield 2042 and see if the game will get past the intro cinematic.
- Turn off OneDrive's automatic startup with Windows. Reboot your PC and start the game to see if the issue is resolved.
- Uninstall OneDrive. If turning it off doesn't work, you can't do much but uninstall the program.
If none of this helps, then you're out of luck. Some players report that they were unable to get rid of this problem even when switching to a completely new PC. It does appear that Battlefield 2042 is at fault for this issue in some capacity so the devs will most definitely have to take a closer look at what could be causing it.
