Battlefield 2042 has been hit with a surge of players after the end of the Battlefield 6 open beta. While Battlefield 2042 will remain as a dark horse of the Battlefield series, it is still the best thing out there for most players.
To reward players for playing Battlefield 2042 while they wait for the release of Battlefield 6 on October 10, 2025, EA has included a set of rewards in the current battle pass. Alongside Iwo Jima in the current seasonal update, players can get exclusive rewards for Battlefield 6 by completing challenges in Battlefield 2042 and leveling up their battle pass.
As a part of the challenges for the battle pass, you need to get some Disruption Assists in Battlefield 2042. Here's a guide on how to get Disruption Assists in no time.
How to Complete Disruption Assist Challenge in Battlefield 2042
The most straightforward way of describing how disruption assists work in Battlefield 2042 is you need to disrupt (basically stun) an enemy while your teammate gets that kill. Once your teammate kills the disrupted enemy, it will count as a disruption assist.
The easiest way of completing this challenge would be using Blasco's special tool or EMP grenades and someone else getting the kill on the affected enemy. You can also use the concussion grenade to concuss an enemy while your teammates get the kill. Rao's hacking on infantry will also cause a disruption assist, as it causes vehicle disruption and makes enemies visible through walls or smoke for a small duration.
If you want to make the task a lot easier, squad up with your friend before joining the game. Once the match begins, rush an enemy point with your teammate, throw an EMP or concussion grenade as soon as an enemy gets hit by it, and make your squadmate get the kill. This is the fastest way of completing the challenge, as you don't have to rely on other players in the lobby.
