ARC Raiders is a newly released extraction shooter from Embark Studios. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
As you progress through the levels in ARC Raiders, you slowly unlock features like the Trials, which are in-game point-based weekly challenges that are refreshed every week. By earning three stars and points in these challenges, you can climb through the ranks to earn exclusive rewards.
Each week Embark adds a new set of challenges for players to complete and climb up their leaderboards. The Season 1 Week 7 trials are live now, and here's a comprehensive guide on how to earn 3 stars in this week's trials.
What are Trials in ARC Raiders?
Trials is the unofficial rank system in ARC Raiders, which is unlocked at player level 15. Once unlocked, players have to earn points by completing challenges every week and climb up the leaderboards. By earning stars, players can earn exclusive rewards.
The challenges are usually divided into three stages, which are marked by stars. By earning points you can get stars, and each challenge has a limit of 3 stars. For each star, players get a reward, with a total of three rewards for completing a challenge.
By earning points you can earn a position in the leaderboard of 100 players in the same rank. Getting into the top 20 of the leaderboard will earn you a 2x promotion to the next ranks. With 1x promotion allocated for the next 30 positions. The bottom 20 players of the leaderboard are demoted to the previous rank.
How to Get 3 Stars in Season 1 Week 7 Trials in ARC Raiders
Like every week, this week's trials have five challenges players must complete to climb up the leaderboard. These challenges are quite easy, but you have to follow some simple strategies to effectively finish them without wasting your important resources. Here's an in-depth guide on how to get 3 stars in Season 1 Week 7 trials in ARC Raiders:
Destroy Ticks, Fireballs, and Pops
This week's first challenge might be a little challenging for solo players. However, it is manageable if you plan your route beforehand. You can complete this challenge on any map, but the best maps for this challenge are Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and Stella Montis.
Jump straight into Stella Montis and Dam Battlegrounds; you'll find these three small ARCs guarding high-value loot areas like Research and Administration. In Buried City, you'll find Pops and Fireballs guarding extraction stations and POIs like Space Travel, Hospital, and Library.
Search Supply Drops
Searching Supply Drops might be the most annoying part of this week's trials. The best map for completing this challenge is Spaceport. The recommended way for this challenge is doing it solo, as it will be a guaranteed bloodbath in duos and trios. Here are the locations of the supply drops in Spaceport:
To complete this challenge you'll need to search at least 3 supply drops. Just head to the supply drop call stations and press on the call button to bring a supply drop down. Once it reaches the ground, breach and search it to complete the challenge. You can also complete this challenge by searching supply drops called by other players.
Damage Wasps
This challenge is quite straightforward; you just need to damage Wasps in any map of the game. To get 3 stars on this challenge, simply jump into a night raid, electromagnetic storm, or hidden bunker event and then hunt Hornets all around the map.
The fastest way to deal with hornets is by using seeker grenades and hullcracker if you have the resources or money. Aside from that, you can also use Anvil to take down Wasps in quick succession. You can kill more than 10-15 hornets in a single run with these two things. Make sure to extract in time, or your progress will not count.
Damage Bastions
This challenge might sound like the hardest one to complete for most players but is quite easy if you know a simple strategy. With 2x Trials points, the best way to complete this challenge is in a night raid or electromagnetic storm. To get 3 stars in this challenge, you just need to take out a single Bastion. The best way for dealing with Bastions is two wolfpack grenades or a hullcracker. The recommended way of taking out a Bastion is two wolfpack grenades as it will minimise the chaos by a large margin.
Damage Queens or Matriarchs
This challenge will be much easier to complete in solo lobbies, as players are much more friendly when it comes to queens and matriarchs. To get 3 stars, you simply need to damage the Queen or Matriarch. You can do it by using the Jupiter, Equaliser, Hullcracker, or Wolfpack grenades, depending on which one you can afford to use. For this challenge you only need to damage these two large Arcs; you don't need to kill them.
Getting 3 stars with decent points in trials will guarantee you a spot in the top 20 of the leaderboard. Remaining in the top 20 will also allow you to jump 2 ranks once the trials are refreshed for next week.
