Metal Gear Survive pushed back

Konami delayed their Metal Gear Survive into 2018. The stealthy survival game is the first Metal Gear title after Hideo Kojima, the creator of the series, left Konami.

Destiny 2 open beta in July

Destiny 2 just got its release dates for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The open beta will start on 21 July, but those who pre-order the game will be able to access it a couple of days early. Frame rates will be capped at 30 fps on the consoles. PC will be the exception to this rule.

Assassin's Creed: Origins - What we know so far

Assassin's Creed: Origins is most officially going to ancient Egypt. A lot of changes seem to be on the horizon - a more RPG-y look and feel in line with recent open world trends, a seemingly greater emphasis on ranged weapons, a bird's eye view, and lots of sand.

Fallout 4 VR is set to launch in October this year. The game will feature "the complete core game with all-new combat, crafting, and building systems fully reimagined for virtual reality". Fallout 4 VR is available for pre-purchase now on Steam.

Kingdom Hearts Orchestra concert in Los Angeles treated us to a new Kingdom Hearts III gameplay trailer. The trailer shows footage based on Disney's Hercules, the game's villains and Sora's new abilities.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War just got a story trailer

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War just got a story trailer and it's fine. Revenge, drums, a few new characters and some horrible lip-sync animation; more or less what we have come to expect recently. It looks a lot like a trailer for some Hollywood movie, but this is a story trailer, so that is ok I guess.

Assassin's Creed leaks pre-order information

It is now safe to say that Origins will be the title of the next Assassin's Creed game. American retailer Target apparently has pre-order bonus cards for the game lying around somewhere and isn't paying too much attention to who might take pictures of one.

Blindflug Studios brought their mobile game success over to PC. Their First Strike: Final Hour is now optimized for PC with a bevy of new options, weapons and strategies. The game is available now on Steam.

Fallout 4 will be free on Steam and Xbox over the coming weekend. The Xbox promotion is reserved for Live Gold members. Interested members and Steam users will have access to the base game as well as be given the opportunity to try out some mods.

The Battle of Bucharest has been announced as the first ever live Mount & Blade eSports tournament. Organised by TaleWorlds Entertainment and the Lithuanian Esports Federation, the event is taking place on 20 May 2017.

No Matter, an indie studio developing a project called Prey for the Gods encountered some issues when they tried to trademark that name. Subsequently, they changed the name of the project at the behest of ZeniMax, who own the trademark for the name "Prey".
