Diablo 3's Season 12 is just around the corner. Before you get to enjoy the new season, you can take part in a Double Goblin event. The event starts on 07 November 2017 and some of the bonuses will not be available to all players.

As you all know or might have heard, Season 12 of Diablo 3 is fast approaching. In preparation, the game will be holding a Double Goblin event between 07 November at 12:00 AM GMT and 10 November at 12:00 AM GMT. During the Double Goblin event, every Treasure Goblin you find will be accompanied by a friend. Duh. Maths.

Blizzard recently posted on the Battle.Net blog announcing that the Patch 2.6.1 is available and Season 12 is just around the corner: "We want to help you stretch your muscles and get prepared for the latest patch with a special in-game event -double Treasure Goblin spawns! Each time you encounter a single Treasure Goblin, they’ll be hanging out with a buddy whose bags are overflowing with all your favourite treats and treasures."

Please note that this event will not have any effect on the number of goblins you encounter via a Bandit Shrine, Goblin “Rift” packs, or in the Realm of Greed.

The starting date of the Double Goblin event coincides with the end of BlizzCon, so you can get to it as soon as you return form Anaheim. Sadly, the entire event will take place on weekdays, so if you're especially pumped for it, you might want to consider taking a couple of days off.

The good and the bad news is that the event will end just in time for the Season 12 kick off. The downside: all you seasonal players can’t take advantage of the bonuses at all.
