According to latest reports, Microsoft will launch Xbox Series X before Sony release their next-generation console PlayStation 5. Apparently, Xbox Series X is targeting first week of November while PS5 is currently set for mid-November 2020.

According to the latest report, Microsoft are set to launch their heavy hitter Xbox Series X before Sony officially release PlayStation 5. The report claims that PlayStation 5 is most likely to land in mid-November and Sony have already booked a big marketing campaign for "the seven days commencing on Friday, November 13."
On the other side, Xbox Series X will be available in the very first week of the November which could potentially give Microsoft a head start in the next-gen race. The report also claims that Xbox sources indicate that Microsoft are also expecting PlayStation 5 to launch within the week commencing November 13.
All in all, November 2020 is set to become one of the biggest months in the history of gaming with Destiny Beyond Light, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 all launching between November 11 and 19. It's safe to say gamers will be quite busy for holiday season.
