It's been less than a fortnight since the launch of WWE 2K20 and 2K Games and Visual Concepts are mostly busy with putting out the immediate fires. Credit to them though - they rolled out an update an entire week earlier than promised.
Now, the patch notes are a bit general, but we guess that naming each individual glitch, its nature and the fix would've taken way more than what anyone would be willing to sift through.
Just four days after the launch, 2K games tweeted that they're aware of everything that's going on, promising an initial patch within two weeks, which was 8 November.
In the meantime, the seemingly endless stream of WWE 2K20 glitches continued, and there's quite an assortment of hilarious ones online if you care to take a look. Wrestlers and props quick-sanding into the ring, kneeling moonwalks, weird warping over the ring accompanied by ill-timed audio comments on female evolution - you name it and WWE 2K20 has got it.
2K Games posted the following list of changes, saying, "The patch addresses reported concerns regarding the following issues and we expect to roll out additional patches in the near future to address additional concerns."
- Gameplay and Controls
- Graphics and Clipping
- Hair Physics
- Hit detection and aiming
- Interactions with tables, ladders, steel steps, and other objects
- Referee actions
- Onscreen button prompts
- Characters “warping” or moving unnaturally around the arena
- Crashes and Freezing
- Image downloads
- Entrances and attires
- Universe mode editing and saving
- Custom and Created Superstars and creation modes
- Commentary and sound effects
- Online Stability, matchmaking, desyncs, and lag
The patch will update WWE 2K20 to 1.02 and it's out for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
