World of Tanks Halloween event for PC and console available from 27 October until 02 November. The event will bring the ghoulish tank Leviathan to the PC and zombie tanks to the console version of the game. The event will have both PvE and PvP modes.
World of Tanks may not be the first game you think of when someone mentions Halloween, but hey, nether is Guild Wars and they still do it every year. This Halloween, the World of Tanks battlefields will play host to the ghoulish tank Leviathan on the PC and zombie tanks on the console version of the game.
"Leviathan, ruler of the armored afterlife, has grown weary of his underworld dwelling and seeks to conquer the world of the living to expand its evil empire. Standing in its way are two multi-turreted event tanks: devastating long-range sniper Franken and thick-skinned Stein that can soak up damage and rush into the melee." explains the press release.
Players can find both tanks in their Garage starting on 27 October at 18:00 BST. After you pick a tank, you'll be able to face-off against Leviathan's forces in a PvE mode where you must stop its minions and take out the monster once and for all. If you’d rather combat real enemies, there’s a 15-vs-15 PvP mode, too.
World of Tanks Console event will bring back the Monster Tank lineup from previous events. Two new additions are the Höllenhund leKpz M 41 90 mm and Dragon Type 62.
"In Monsters Awakened, tankers brave the ghastly fields of Grim Graveyard, where phantom trains, Kraken tentacles and a mysterious green ooze haunt the battlefield. If players out there previously possessed the monster tanks they’ll discover the awakened versions, boasting menacing new forms with powerful stats and abilities, upon logging in." warns the press release.
If you don't own a monster tank, an "equally chilling Spectre" will be provided. You earn the Spectre medal by surviving the battle in the Spectre tank.
Monsters Awakened runs from 27 October until 02 November.
