Newly reworked daily tribute system in Warframe
Warframe

Digital Extremes have launched the latest update to Warframe dubbed Chimera, bringing with it the titular, new arbitration mission type, two brand new weapons, a brand new tribute rewards system and a host of other tweaks and fixes.

As the story goes, the Arbiters of Hexis have a challenge that's a pretty high risk high reward move. Completing the Star Chart will now unlock Arbitrations, new mission type that throws 60+ level enemies at you but pays better than regular alerts. Completing them will provide Vitus Essence, the cosmetics oriented resource.

Digital Extremes wrote that Arbitrations "rotate between endless Missions around the Star Chart every hour" but the company threw in something to lose this time, as players only get one life. There are no revives so when you kick the bucket, you die. The alerts apparently "also add a few other wrinkles to the gameplay" but the dev is confident players will find out about them on their own.

Warframe has also received what Digital Extremes call the Daily Tribute Rewards 2.0, which are reworked incentive and bonus systems for logging on. Players will now be given up to three choices of Primed Mods every 50 days, which is in stark contrast to the earlier take-it-and-shut-up system. The company listed the milestone categories as:

Sigils and Resources: Days 50, 150, 250, etc.

- Primed Mods: Days 200, 400, 600, etc.

- Weapons: Days 100, 300, 500, etc.

Furthermore, rewards will be scaled in accordance to how many days you logged in and while day one could bring a single resource such as Tellurium for instance, day 1,000 can earn you a bunch. "This applies to Credits, Endo, Booster Durations, Resources, Syndicate Medallions, Relics and Forma Blueprints", Digital Extremes wrote.

As for the new Warframe weapons, we're looking at Pupacyst and Falcor, where the former rends flesh and infects new victims while at it. Falcor is a Corpus-tech glaive that allows for surgical precision when dispatching your enemies.
