Valorant will soon hold a one-off, competitive tournament that will place some regional bragging rights on the line.
Soon, Riot Games Southeast Asia will shine the spotlight on Valorant in the region through the Valorant SEA Invitational, set to go down on July 11 at 1:30 PM (GMT +8).
IO Esports is credited as the official event organizer. The SEA Invitational will feature six teams comprised of five prominent content creators and personalities each from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
All participants will be showcasing their in-game skills and try to and outplay each other.
The prize pool will hold a total of US $10,000, various prizes from official sponsors and the aforementioned bragging rights.
The official sponsors include Intel, Secretlab, and GIGABYTE.
In celebration of the launch of Valorant in conjunction with the SEA Invitational, Riot Games Southeast Asia will donate US $10,000 to GlobalGiving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund to benefit projects working on the stop and prevention of the pandemic’s spread.
The SEA Invitational will be broadcast live in English, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.
