Nintendo Switch is once again dominating UK physical sales charts with five games on the top ten charts. The top spot, however, is still reserved for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Infinity Ward's shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has topped the UK top ten charts for the second week in a row. After being beaten by Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, two weeks ago, Modern Warfare is once again the best selling game in the UK when it comes to boxed copies.
The sales increased by 39 per cent week-on-week, which was enough to keep EA Sports' FIFA 20 at second, despite a 59 per cent sales jump, that football simulation recorded for the week ending on 1 February.
Traditionally, Nintendo Switch also had a pretty strong week. Five Switch titles have managed to slide into top ten after a short supply throughout January. Switch game that had the biggest sales boost in the last week is Ring Fit Adventure that returned to the top ten with 822 per cent sales increase week-on-week.
Minecraft on Switch also managed to jump into top ten after several weeks outside of the top 40. Thanks to 197 per cent increase in sales, Minecraft is now at No.6.
Here is the full GfK Top Ten chart for the week ending on 1 February 2020:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
- FIFA 20
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
- Minecraft Switch
- Ring Fit Adventure
- Luigi's Mansion 3
- Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
As always, it is worth noting that the list only includes physical sales, not digital, which can be a bit misleading since most of the sales in today's day and age are digital.
