Animal Crossing has taken the No.1spot on UK physical sales chart from FIFA 20 for the week ending on 25 April 2020. The Nintendo Switch exclusive saw a 53 per cent sales increase over the previous week.

Nintendo Switch exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been a massive success for the company since launch. The game managed to sell 1.8 million physical units in Japan in its first three days, which makes it the best first week for a Switch game in history.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also mega-popular worldwide. In the UK, the game has returned to the top of the UK physical sales charts after coming second last week. Thanks to a 53 per cent increase in sales over the previous week, Anima Crossing topped the chart, leaving the usual suspects EA Sports' FIFA 20 and Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in second and third, respectively.

The list is once again jam-packed with Switch titles. Ring Fit Adventure managed to climb back to fourth thanks to a 95 per cent sales increase while Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and Luigi's Mansion 3 also found their place on the charts.
