Ubisoft is giving away two games on Uplay this month, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and World in Conflict: Complete Edition, due to 10th anniversaries of World in Conflict and first Assassin's Creed game.
Ubisoft is celebrating a double anniversary this December and gamers will get to share some of the joy. First up in free game lineup for this month we get World in Conflict: Complete Edition.
Massive Entertainment, Sierra Entertainment
This critically acclaimed RTT / RTS can be added to library and it will be available until 11 December. Within the game you will get to experience an alternate timeline in 1989 where Soviet Union is still intact and World War 3 is raging between them and NATO alliance. You assume the role of Lt.Parker , defending US soil from Soviet ground attack. It is worth nothing that you get the Soviet Assault expansion as part of the Complete Edition.
While World in Conflict was a major success and loved by critics, it is overshadowed by Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, and it is safe to say this is the free title everyone is looking forward to. To download what is considered by many the best Assassin's Creed game, you will have to wait about a week, as it will be able to be downloaded for free on 11 through 18 December.
Ubisoft
The catch is the games are only available for free on PC, and only on UPlay. You will have to download Ubisoft's launcher, which means a separate library from the one on Steam, and having to deal with Uplay. Either way, let's not look a gift horse in the DRM.
