Crash and Spyro developer Toys For Bob who recently become an independent studio are partnering with Xbox to publish their next game, which is still early in development.

Toys For Bob have officially confirmed that they will be partnering with Xbox to publish their next title. In a post on social media X, Toys For Bob studio wrote that while the game is still early in development and we won't be hearing from them anytime soon, they are working hard on their next project which they are so inspired about.

"We're excited to announce that we'll be partnering with Xbox to publish our next new game. We're still very early in development, so you might not hear from us for a bit - but know that we're working hard on an experience we're so sooo inspired about! Can't wait to share more," they wrote.

The graphic that Toys For Bob used to announce this partnership has a gradient purple background so this could be a hint that the game they are working on is Spyro. But that's just my speculation and nothing more.

It's also possible that the studio are working on a classic Microsoft IP like Banjo-Kazooie. A new game in this beloved series has been awaited by fans for many, many years so it would certainly be great to see Xbox and Toys For Bob deliver a modern Banjo-Kazooie with the humour and dialogues we loved since the first game was released back in 1998.

Toys For Bob are known for many critically acclaimed titles from Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. The studio also helped on the development of Call of Duty games recently. I think I'm not the only one when I say I'm glad Toys For Bob is free of those chains.

The announcement doesn't mention any platforms or release dates so we don't really know if this one will be exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem or a multiplat release. You can bet it's coming to Game Pass, though.
