According to the reputed Call of Duty leaker, theGhostofHope shared details on the release of the next Call of Duty title. In his recent tweet, Hope claimed that the next Call of Duty 2026 title is set to be the launch title for Microsoft's upcoming Xbox console.
Call of Duty has always been a title dominating the consoles since its inception, with many of its titles being bundled together with Xbox consoles in the past. With the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, it is unsurprising to see the game become a launch title for their upcoming console.
Call of Duty 2026 is reportedly a sequel to the original Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, with Sledgehammer Games in charge. The game will also be integrated into Call of Duty: Warzone 2 after launch.
