Tottenham Hotspur and South Korea striker Son Heung-min will soon arrive to Krafton's battle royale title PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. "Guess who's coming to the Battlegrounds?" the official PUBG Twitter account posted today along with an artwork that pretty much confirms it's is Son Heung-min.
If you're wondering how exactly this silhouette reminds us of Son, well, here's an actual photo of him to compare the two, if you don't believe us.
At the time of writing, Krafton did not reveal additional details about this partnership. We don't know if they plan a special limited-time event with Son Heung-min in the main role or it will be just a simple skin just like his teammate Harry Kane recently appeared in Epic Games' Fortnite.
That being said, it seems that we won't have to wait for too long since Krafton already teased the announcement. Perhaps we'll get the first details along with a trailer by the end of the week.
In other PUBG news, Krafton recently launched Season 12, which introduced the biggest Miramar update since launch; with significant visual and design improvements, a new uniquely Miramar vehicle, and an armour-destroying sniper rifle.
PUBG is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
