Total War: Warhammer II launches on 28 September 2017. The launch party will be held one day earlier at the Mixer NYC Studio. The entire thing will be broadcast online for those not fortunate enough to be able to make it there themselves.
Creative Assembly's dev team is gearing up to host an event in order to celebrate the release of Total War: Warhammer II. The broadcast event will feature interviews with the Total War developers, a free-for-all multiplayer tournament with prominent community members and a Trophy awards presentation. Even though the event will take place in New York, a number of giveaways is planned for for those tuning in online.
According to the press release, "the event will take place in the flagship store's Mixer NYC Studio, a digital production facility that features state of the art broadcast equipment and professional-grade gaming stations".

The second instalment of the Total War: Warhammer trilogy is decked out with four factions, each mounting a campaign of conquest to save or destroy a vast and vivid fantasy world. "It's fantastic to be working live with Microsoft on the eve of Total War: Warhammer II's launch," said Rob Bartholomew, Brand Director of Creative Assembly.
During the live broadcast, you can expect the developers to give insight into the features of Total War: Warhammer II. After the game spotlight and developer interviews wrap up, eight prominent gamers from the Total War community will compete in three rounds of "epic free-for-all real-time tactical gameplay".
"These four-player throwdowns will take place on bespoke designed to funnel players into conflict, and will dish out points based on damage done, with the winner being the savviest aggressor or the last force standing. With the Mixer NYC Studio's custom "Quad-Box," viewers will be able to follow all four players' gameplay simultaneously, for a unique perspective of the unrivalled scale of Total War's multiplayer battles" says the press release.
