Total War: Warhammer 2 just got a new trailer detailing the game's map. The trailer takes us on a tour of the land explaining the game's premise and it's races. Total War: Warhammer 2 is available for pre-order right now.
Sega just released a new video for Total War: Warhammer 2. The video gives us a closer look at the game's campaign map. While we're enjoying the view, the narrator goes over the many different features and gameplay options the map offers.
The focal point is the Vortex in Ulthuan. The Vortex was created by the High Elves in order to siphon the winds of magic. The battle to preserve this Vortex will probably act as the game's epilogue, but in order to reach it, players will have to brave dangerous seas.
There will also be no shortage of opportunities for you to prove your political and ally-making prowess. If you watch the trailer (if you are reading this you've probably already watched it), you'll notice that quite a bit of air-time has been given to the arrogant High Elves and Lizardmen. The game will, however, feature more than these two races. Dark Elves and Skaven will also make an appearance.
The Ratmen might also pop up somewhere, even though no official announcement has been made. Total War: Warhammer 2 will take place on the "mystery-shrouded continents far to the west of The Old World," and those include Ulthuan, Naggaroth, The Southlands, and Lustria.
A "new style of narrative campaign" has been promised and the four races will either be trying to save the Great Vortex or destroy it. Total War: Warhammer 2 is available for pre-order right , right now. The game will launch on 28 September 2017.
If you happen to own Total War: Warhammer 2 and its predecessor, you will be eligible for a free update that will roll out "shortly" after the former launches. The purpose of the update is to merge TW: Warhammer 2's map with the map from the first game in order to form a combined campaign map that consists of the regions from both games. This will also enable you to play on both maps with any playable race you own.
