Crystal Dynamics, the developers behind Tomb Raider trilogy are currently on a hiring spree for their next project, which is a AAA game built in their Redwood City studio.
Recently, Crystal Dynamics confirmed they are working on the next Tomb Raider game, which is still very early in production and it will take some time before the studio actually reveals the project. In addition to this game, it looks like the devs have another major title in development, that is also in a very early phase.
According to the latest job listing (found by opattack ), Crystal Dynamics are staffing for a new AAA game, which is currently in "Formative Stages" of development. This particular job listing is for a Camera Designer and sadly, there are no additional details about the project.
Could this be a new Tomb Raider game something completely different? Well, it's really hard to say at this moment since we don't know anything about these games and it will probably stay like that for a couple of years.
Square Enix
The publisher of Tomb Raider games, Square Enix, have a Direct set for March 18, but as we already mentioned, don't get your hopes up for the new Tomb Raider, it's still too early for such a showcase.
Crystal Dynamics are also known for Marvel's Avengers, which was not received very well by the players but it's still early days and there's definitely time to turn the tide in their favour.
